Alameda Library Card Design Contest
The Alameda Free Library is running a library card design contest through Sept 30th. Those who submit their designs have a chance to be featured on a limited-edition Alameda library card. More info

Ferry Service Updates
At the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal, construction is now mostly complete, and paid parking is scheduled to launch this fall. Additionally, staff are resuming enforcement of parking restrictions on Adelphian Way. More info

Bike Safety Improvements
Grand Street is getting a new two-way protected bike lane between Shore Line Drive and Otis Drive, including a parking-protected section — a first for the area. means a safer, smoother ride if you're biking through town soon.
